Some restaurant provided future order service that customer can reserve a meal and\/or make an order in advance. A restaurant might request a customer deposit to protect both himself and customers and create more accountability. A simple \u2018Customer Deposit<\/strong>\u2019 feature is provided, it is located on \u201cMORE<\/strong>\u201d window.<\/p>

When open the deposit page, the active deposit list will be showing on the left pane<\/p>

\"Customer<\/p>

New Deposit<\/h4>

To create a new customer deposit, follow below steps:<\/p>

1. Click \u201cNEW<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>

\"New<\/p>

2. Enter Deposit Reference, you can name anything for reference, ease of use and understanding.<\/p>

3. Enter Deposit Amount.<\/p>

4. Enter customer name for reference.<\/p>

5. Click \u201cPAY<\/strong>\u201d button to make payment. After finished payment, the deposit receipt will be printing out automatically, if setting.<\/p>

6. The application will return back to Customer Deposit page, you can see the created deposit on
the left pane.<\/p>

Return Deposit<\/h4>

To return a customer deposit, follow below steps:<\/p>

1. Click \u201cRETURN<\/strong>\u201d button. \u201cSEARCH<\/strong>\u201d button and a customer deposit list on the left pane, will be enabled.<\/p>

2. You can select the desired deposit from the list, or you can enter a deposit reference, click
\u201cSEARCH<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>

3. After selecting the desired deposit, click \u201cPAY<\/strong>\u201d button to receive payment, and return back to a
customer.<\/p>

4. The application will return back to Customer Deposit page, the returned deposit should not be
showing on the list on the left pane anymore.<\/p>

Maintain Deposit<\/h4>

The restaurant can update the status of active customer deposit. To update status a customer deposit, follow below steps:<\/p>

1. Click \u201cCHANGE STATUS<\/strong>\u201d button. Maintain Deposit window will open showing active status.<\/p>

2. Select a desired deposit, click \u201c…\u201d button on status column. The status list will show up.<\/p>

3. Select a desired status, if selecting Voided status, void reason is required.<\/p>

4. Click \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button to update status, or click \u201cCancel<\/strong>\u201d button to cancel updating.<\/p>

5. When finish updating status, click \u201cDONE<\/strong>\u201d button to save changes, or click \u201cCANCEL<\/strong>\u201d to discard changes.<\/p>

6. The application will return back to Customer Deposit page, the updated status deposit should
